Fondazione Berengo is delighted to announce “JANUS” the new solo show by internationally renowned Spanish artist Jaume Plensa! Opening this April in Venice the exhibition takes inspiration from the double faced Roman god in a site-specific installation that takes over the 15th century interiors of the Chiesa di San Gallo.

Curated by Adriano Berengo, a meditative scene awaits an audience with new works by the artist in alabaster and glass. Plensa notes how within the chaos and violence of contemporary society he hopes the exhibition can provide a space of solace, a place that can foster “long-awaited harmony and peace.”
